Smart PDF Suite ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application available on the Google Play Store.

Because Smart PDF Suite is designed with”Privacy-First" architecture, the App operates entirely offline and does not require an internet connection to perform its core functionalities.

1. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) or user data. Because the App operates entirely on your local device, we do not have external servers, nor do we collect background data such as your IP address, device ID, or location.

2. Document Privacy & On-Device Processing

All files, documents, and images processed by the App remain strictly on your local device storage.

• No Cloud Uploads: Your documents are never uploaded to any cloud service or external server.

• On-Device OCR: Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and document conversions are performed 100% locally using on-device processing libraries.

3. Android Device Permissions

To provide its features, the App requires certain device permissions. These permissions are used strictly for local operations and are never used to extract data from your device:

• Camera Permission: Used exclusively for the "Scan to PDF" feature. Images captured by the camera are processed immediately in volatile memory to create a PDF and are never transmitted externally.

• Storage Access (Photos, Videos, and Files): Used solely to let you browse, select, edit, and save PDF documents on your device. We utilize modern Android Storage Access frameworks to ensure the App only interacts with files you explicitly choose.

4. Third-Party Libraries and SDKs

To guarantee your absolute privacy, Smart PDF Suite does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, user behavior analytics trackers (such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics), or data-sharing marketing frameworks.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Any temporary application data, cache files, or "Recent Files" history are stored locally in the App's private sandbox storage. You have full control over this data. You can delete it at any time by clearing the App's cache or data through your Android device settings, or by uninstalling the App.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not collect any data, making it inherently safe for users of all ages, including children under the age of 13. We fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Family policies.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or Android platform guidelines. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
